Honouring your dog in the most beautiful way – say hello to your friendly dog photographer, Laura
Laura Fiddaman effortlessly captures your dog’s personality through friendly, timeless photography and creates unique works of art for your home
The most wonderful pieces of art
I could say it a 1000 times over but Laura creates the most wonderful pieces of art. I despise being in front of a camera lens but somehow Laura just captures moments that are truly priceless and without feeling any pressure to be ‘picture perfect’.
To have these memories are so precious and I cannot thank Laura enough for her time, patience & understanding.

I’d love photos of my dog but…
"...I can't really take them off-lead"
Your dog’s wellbeing and safety always comes first. A slip lead can be provided, or your lead removed in editing. Laura will show how to hold the lead for best results
"...I'm always so busy"
Laura keeps the process simple and convenient. This includes helping you prep before, and guidance on images and artwork choices after your session
"...what if they misbehave?"
Every dog and session is different, but that’s what makes them all special. Laura will work with your dog on the day to ensure they remain comfortable throughout – no stress!
East of England and beyond…
Laura is here to guide you through a special dog photography experience with your beloved four legged family, creating quality, heartfelt artwork for your home
Are you ready to make your house a home?
What does Laura do?
With her animal-first approach, Laura is more than just a dog photographer. She provides a safe place for every dog she meets.
Her goal is to provide every dog with an enjoyable photoshoot that’s a positive, fun experience for everyone involved. Whilst Laura may not have patience for everyday tasks around the house (horse girl…), you can rest assured she has it in spades when it comes to observing, guiding and capturing these special moments with your dog.
Laura has an easy going approach to her photoshoots that puts you and your dog at ease within minutes. In March 2025 Laura invested in an intensive week of outdoor dog photography education in an unnaturally balmy Scotland, and has continued to develop her love of photographing our smaller four legged family since. She continues to expand her knowledge on dog behaviours, and positive ways to achieve the perfect fleeting moment for you to enjoy at home on your walls as stunning heirloom art.
This is for you
If you’ve been wanting a photo that’s not going to land in your phone gallery and stay there forever, you’re in the right place. You’re probably realising that you’ve not got forever to do this, and sadly you would be right – that’s why this whole experience is about celebrating you and your dog (and making it easy to enjoy from start to finish).
Let Laura give you a memorable day with them, where the final pieces of art deliver you straight back to that moment long after they have to leave your side.
The phone snaps aren't cutting it
FAQS
If we choose studio style portraiture, where does this take place?
Studio style portraits can be taken at your home, or a local village hall if you don’t have space, where Laura can bring her paper backdrop and lighting setup.
Laura doesn’t currently have a static studio location to invite you to – but being able to set up in an environment your pet is comfortable in can be a huge advantage to capturing those relaxed moments
What if the (very British) weather lets us down?
Decisions will usually be discussed, but not ultimately made until 12 – 24 hours before the scheduled photoshoot. Where showers and drab days are concerned, Laura will have options available to reduce the impact depending on the location we are photographing. In some cases it may mean a change in time, to avoid the worst of the weather, but Laura will stay in touch as the day approaches
Do you only photograph dogs?
Laura also photographs horses! In fact her journey officially began in 2016 with her own horse, initially progressing into equine photography as a speciality.
Laura can also offer equine studio sessions now, if you have a flat indoor space! Manege’s or barns are ideal if available.
