We loved our equine photo shoot with Laura. She took time to learn our story, completely got our love and connection with our 25 year old Connemara who we have owned for 21 years. He has taught three generations of the same family. Has excelled at eventing, show jumping and dressage and now teaching the grandchildren. Laura captured our love for him and was endlessly patient throughout.

Laura was the natural choice
When my much-loved childhood pony was diagnosed with a terminal illness, I knew I wanted some photos to remember him by. I hate having my photo taken, but knew I’d put it off long enough! Laura was the natural choice to ask to capture my special boy’s huge personality, and she did a great job at putting me at ease throughout too. Even though it was bittersweet, the morning was spent full of smiles and laughter! The end product did not disappoint - he is captured exactly the way I want to remember him. Thank you Laura, I’m so grateful to have such a treasured way of remembering my “heart horse”.

Laura was fabulous
My husband and I wanted to have a wedding dress photo shoot with my pony Flynn. We had never done anything like this before and we were quite nervous. We shouldn't have been. Laura was fabulous, within minutes we forgot we were posing for photos and had such a good time, lots of laughs. The photos Laura took were amazing, I have them on display all over my house. I would not hesitate to recommend Laura she is brilliant!

Don’t wait until it’s getting urgent - I can’t stress enough how many animals I have worked with in their last days because it just never made it to the top of the list whilst they were in their prime. Enjoy this opportunity to remember them at their best!
Pre-session call to ensure a smooth photoshoot
Plan
Have a friendly call with Laura to go over any concerns, questions about outfits, locations, snacks, and get comfortable with what to expect. Let Laura put your mind at ease and explain what will happen on the day once more.
Session day keeping your horse or dog happy throughout
Relax
Every horse and dog photoshoot starts with a few minutes together, quietly assessing locations, and getting a feel for where everyone is emotionally. From there we can go ahead and start capturing those special moments. Sessions are animal-led, so will always be different to the last!
Design your collection
View
After your session, Laura will select the best images and begin the retouching process. A small collection will be presented completely retouched, along with the rest lightly edited, at your Design session. This is usually in your home, where Laura will bring her colour calibrated monitor for you to review the photos and make your selections. Products are selected at this stage if not already pre-ordered, and final image editing begins.
Receive your final pieces of artwork

Your images have been carefully edited into the artwork they deserve to be, Laura has taken delivery of your products and completed her own quality checks. It’s time for collection! You will be invited to pick your items up from Ipswich, or Laura can arrange delivery for a fee, to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.

Laura specialises in capturing the bond between families and their beloved horses and dogs. Inspired by her own heart horse, Rio, she offers on-location photoshoots at yards and homes. You can even choose to have the studio brought to you.
